01:30 pm – You will be welcomed by our expert environmental guide directly at the most convenient point in Borgotaro, a mountain town in the province of Parma locally known for its peculiar gastronomic treasures, and together you will reach the path starting point in the woods: ready to learn about this amazing mountain landscape and search for the treasures hidden in its forest? Not just porcini mushrooms (which have a denomination of typical origin there), but also wild berries, peculiar trees, and rare bushes, according to season. Hunting requires energy… that’s why a tasty country-style merenda along the tour or at the end will be ready for you with the top-notch farm-to-table products of the region: Parmigiano-Reggiano, some of the typical rural pies, freshly made bread, rustic as well as more “aristocratic” desserts… and the most authentic spirit of Parma’s food making heritage!

Please Note:
- Program: the described program may undergo minor changes in the timings;
- Pick-ups: If you choose the car+driver option the price is calculated considering a pick-up from Parma or immediate surroundings (max 15 Km). Pick-ups from other locations can be purchased with a surcharge to be agreed upon by email request;
- The ideal season for porcini mushrooms is September and October. During the other months the visit into the woods is still possible focusing on the environment and the characteristics of the territory;
- Guide: the guide is let to decide whether to join you on board (only with car+driver grade) or drive her/his own car. In case you drive your own car the guide drives her/his own car in front of you and you just follow upon itinerary instructions;
- Since it’s a real search and the seasons may be dramatically influenced by the current climate, it is not guaranteed to find products during the experience.
Cancellation Policy:
- No fee up to 8 days before the starting day;
- From 7 days to 3 days before the tour starting date: 50% penalty;
- 48 hours’ notice: 70% penalty;
- 24 hours’ notice: 100% penalty.
