The Room of Rossi deeds in certainly superb, such as the suggestive tale of the Golden Ass, depicted in 17 canvases: fable and myth’s allegorical models are exciting, the mythological models are stressed by many aforisms. The important frescoes are still perfectly preserved.
From medieval fortress to magnificient Renaissance residence, the Castle was Rossi’ home, one of Parma most prestigious family. The stronghold shows works of art by pupils of Giulio Romano, Baglione, Samacchini, Bertoja, Procaccini and Paganino, that level the castle to Medici and Gonzaga courts, tight connected to San Secondo dinasty.
