From fresh milk to curd, from copper vats to the first stages of shaping, participants will discover the gestures, timing and skills required to produce the “King of Cheeses”.

The wheels created during the activity will be signed by the participants and carefully kept at the dairy for at least one year, allowing them to complete the minimum ageing process and officially become Parmigiano Reggiano. Once matured, the wheels will become the property of the team and can be collected directly at the dairy or shipped anywhere in the world.

The experience continues with an introduction to salting and ageing, including the impressive maturation rooms where thousands of cheese wheels rest and slowly develop their unique flavour, aroma and texture over time.

At the end of the activity, participants will enjoy a Parmigiano Reggiano tasting, discovering the differences between ageing periods and sharing a memorable moment together.
