The Borgo and Castle of Tabiano trace their origins back to the 11th century, erected upon the remnants of a Roman settlement. Once a stronghold of the Pallavicino Marquises, a prominent Ghibelline family, Tabiano has been entwined in numerous historical narratives. Today, the hotel is seamlessly integrated throughout the medieval village, offering a unique experience immersed in history.

With two wellness centers available, one situated in a natural cave and the other located in a woodland house within the secret garden beneath the walls, guests can indulge in Turkish baths, jacuzzis, saunas, sensory showers, and relaxation areas. The main building also offers various massage rooms and a range of treatments tailored for individuals and couples, as detailed in the massages and treatments sections.

In the fortified section of the village and within the quaint stone and brick rural houses, spacious accommodations await, boasting contemporary amenities. Each dwelling is adorned with period furnishings, tapestries, hand-painted ceramics, and either terracotta floors or antique tiles. Guests can expect modern conveniences such as air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, high-speed internet, and a minibar.
Select superior rooms and junior suites exude a rustic charm, featuring antique tubs or whirlpool baths and original fireplaces. Certain suites and junior suites are equipped with kitchenettes and offer the option of additional bedding. Apartments catering to 4/6 occupants feature fully equipped kitchens and a living area. Every room offers breathtaking views of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the plains extending to the Alps, historic towers and walls, olive groves, and the expansive parkland.
